Pleasant- went to a private party so not sure how it is normally.
The food looked lovely but it didn't live up to it! The beef was overcooked tough couldn't eat it! Plus no horseradish not enough gravy! So for that reason l give it 2 stars! Veg was good.
Nice pub, went in January time with my boyfriend and my dog. The pub is beautifully decorated now and it was really nice and cozy! There was a good selection of drinks and the landlady and her daughter were very welcoming! Also the locals were very friendly in there and we had a good chat! Very enjoyable afternoon!
Stayed for one night and had dinner. Shame our room didn't have a window as the country views were lovely. Easy self booking system. Staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. Would definitely book again if we are in the area.
This is a great pub to visit either day or night! Nice decor & clean! Toilets are clean. Food is a good price, especially for the portions! Groups bookings can be arranged for birthdays/parties etc.There is Live entertainment on weekends! Staff are friendly & the gardens will be nice to sit out in the summer. Definitely recommend.
