The place is clean tidy and modern. My mother is in Beechwood there. The staff seem lovely when you are there and mum thrived I'm delighted to say. Sadly, if you ring for any updates, which I have done twice, they are VERY unpleasant on the phone to put it mildly. This is no necessary. Very unprofessional.
I have just hung up from the telephone after waiting 11 minutes for reception to answer. Unacceptable!

My mum, Sylvia, was in Hazelwood ward for about 6 weeks for rehab. Its not just that she had great care, the staff were so kind to her, and truth be told she'd have been happy to stay forever. but obviously thats not an option. So Thank-you so much to all the staff, for everything, but especially for your kindness to her. It made all the difference.
