Fabulous service from this GP practice which is person centred. I have minor concerns that I couldn't make an appointment in person but had to phone. All staff, excepting one of the receptionists, could not be more approachable or helpful. The practice is always clean with a plethora of helpful information readily available
Put a prescription in and was told it would be ready Wednesday, called in no prescription told it would be Thursday, then told it's at the chemist went to chemist no prescription went back to surgery to be told to come back Thursday. As for trying to make a appointment no way I've tried phoning calling in person to be told no appointment, then turn around looking at the waiting room not one person waiting.
A big thank you to the staff of Albany House Medical Centre and the Pharmacy there.I rang them in the morning, got a same day appointment.Within 35 minutes I had my appointment, I dropped off a sample and I had my medication in my hand.Very pleased!
To get prescription ready seems a very big deal...managed to prescribe the wrong formula and after that refuses to give the right one. 2nd time in the row takes up to a week to get it....Was happy with this nhs till now bit not anymore and wouldn't recommend to register over there
I have always received very good care, the receptionists are friendly and professional in their approach, and the doctors willing to listen. The only downside is the problem of getting an appointment, sometimes you have to keep ringing only to be told there are no appointments left. Not sure how this can be resolved in such a large practice.
