Stumbled across this little gem. The staff in the play area were so pleasant, friendly and genuinely cared. Very reasonable prices for my little boy to play! We had dinner to which was very reasonably priced and my fajitas were very tasty!
Well kept ale excellent food and good value but waiting staff poor. Slow at clearing tables of empty glasses and dirty plates. Had to wait a while for desert but was excellent when it was brought out. Would have been 5 stars.
The food we ordered & received was lovely. The managers are excellent. It's a little cramped and most of the tables aren't that good for a disabled person and you feel like you're in the way a little. Other than that, all good.
Big portions and nicely cooked. I would recommend the priory for lunch/dinner. Reasonably priced and staff not too busy when I visited with my 7 work colleagues. Nothing was to big of an issue when asked for drinks to be delivered to the table when they delivered the food.
First time we visited here. Standard range of beers which made a change from all the trendy stuff usually offered, we decided to have a meal-2 for 10 -battered holumi and chips and fish and chips, the fish was huge. Altogether. The bill was about 25 and was well worth it.It was also nice to sit in a bar which was over 18 only and the pub looks very traditional....definitely go there again.
