The steak served here was too nice. I went from work for a make dinner with one service user which was organised by the manager which worked, very lovely manager. The meal was too nice, the person I went with was excited and enjoyed the evening . We are now good thanks manager. We had sirloin steak, chips, corn on the cob, drinks. It was nice. I have not been able to find a nice restaurant in wellingborough although am not a restaurant person but now I have found one and will be going back again
This is a good pub with good food the only thing I'd say that it is probably overdue for a refurbishment as the interior is looking tired and run down and at busy times can be a bit of a wait at the bar to get served however food is always as you'd expect and service is fairly prompt.I've been coming in and out of this this establishment for many years on and off and I think I've only ever had 1 issue with the food in all those years.
Love this place.It's not the cleanest.They don't always have everything in stock.But it's always an enjoyable evening.Food isn't too bad when they get your order right and the selection of beverages is fairly extensive
Would give 5 stars but I knocked that one because of dirty/wet tables and the fact I had to wait good 5minutes before anyone from the waiting staff came to clean the table. Apart from that good value for money. Ideal if you're looking for a quick lunch and don't want to spend a lot 7 for double beef burger and a pint, can't go wrong with that
